I WON!!

I won the trip from www.doubletheadventure.com!! So exciting!! Anyone want to come tubing?! Hehe!! 

I am currently sitting in class!! I got smart and brought my computer to entertain me for these 3 hours!! 

Please pray that New York State isn't in such a horrible financial crisis when they give the budgets to the university for next fall. My scholarship/fellowship is in jeopardy. This is a big reason why I came to NY and if it is cut in the fall that will be a bummer. I know that God knows better than me and that my education will be financed in some way or another in the fall, but currently my scholarship pays for half of my tuition and that is a large chunk being that I am an out of state student. If you are the praying type please pray that the scholarship will still be there for me for the fall and spring of next year. I am also in the process of applying for scholarships, please pray that positive results will come about. I am hoping that I will not have to take out a loan for my last year here. 

Other than that, I am really beginning to accept that I am here in NY for a reason and that I can be here and be happy. It may be hard, but its possible!! I am a lot more happier this semester.

Another week

Another week, another triumph. Only 9 more weeks left this semester!! Oh forgiveness, such a nice word yet so hard to do. I'm pretty sure I have read a lot of blogs this week regarding forgiveness .. its a sign!! 

If I work early and diligently I should not be overwhelmed with the amount of papers I will have to do. Life is good, it could be better .. but I'm not complaining. Left this semester I have 3 15-page papers, 1 10-page paper, 2 midterms, 2 finals, 2 mini papers and an internship to acquire. 

Pray for a good internship, in Dallas!! PLEASE-OH-PLEASE!! Pray that I figure out what I need to do with the rest of my life, after I finish school life. I'm kind of confused .. :/

This too ..

This too shall pass. Whether you are going through good or through bad it will pass. We aren't guaranteed to have an amazing life, but we are guaranteed life. God does not bring us to situations He does not think we can handle, He brings us to things that He know will make us better people and form us to be who we are called to be. 

Winter Break

This darn foot still hasn't healed well enough for me to walk!! Bummer!! On the other hand I did apply for four internships in Texas!! Wooo-hooooo!! Hopefully I will get one of those, please pray so hard!! 

Texas time has been great. The weather has been beautiful and the time with family and friends have been great. Now it is time to get these last homework assignments so I can enjoy my last few days. 

Come on Spring .. we need you now in New York!! No more snow!! PLEASE!! 

Random

* I am glad this semester is going better. Last semester was really rough. Just two more semesters after this and I will be done!! 

* Please pray that I find an internship in Texas for this summer, that is the desire of my heart right now. I really enjoyed being home for the break in December, and I think I didn't realize how much fun it was until being away so far.

*I hope this semester continues to go smoothly and quickly!!

*I hope my foot heals completely!! I am so ready to walk, not walking for a month is too long!! 

*I get to go home this week and I am excited. I will have help from my bros and sis, since I cant walk.

*I am so grateful for the things that God has done in my life!! 

*I am praying that I get a visitor ::cough:: while I am in Dallas.

*I know that this year is a year for changes and progress. I am needing to make some changes in many areas of my life and I know that with God and perseverance I can be successful. I also hope that I can make some new friends in New York. 

Prayer changes everything so pray, pray, pray and seek God for the desires of your heart. No, we may not always get them when we want them, but God's timing is best!!
